King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust renews contract with Falck UK

King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Falck UK have agreed a contract extension which will run until August 2019.

- The renewal allows King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Falck to continue developing our existing collaboration, says Chief Executive of Falck Ambulance UK, Mark Raisbeck. He continues:

Falck Ambulance UK has delivered non-emergency patient transport to King’s College Hospital since 2014 and operates approximately 140,000 journeys each year.

Kings College Hospital is one of the UK’s busiest and largest teaching hospitals treating 1.5 million patients each year.

Across the UK, Falck employs more than 400 (+) frontline ambulance staff trained and qualified to NHS standards, and operates a fleet of 300 (+) specially equipped ambulances, stretcher vehicles and wheelchair accessible cars.

The contract with King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is one of more than 30 contracts between NHS Trusts and Falck UK.
