As part of a long-term strategy to develop into an integrated healthcare service provider, Falck has today sold its Roadside Assistance (RSA) business in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Estonia and Lithuania to Gjensidige Forsikring in Norway. The transaction does not include Falck’s RSA activities in Denmark.

Topdanmark expands road side assistance contract with Falck

Insurance company Topdanmark prolongs and expands their contract on “Tophjælp” with Falck. From May 1st, Falck will handle Topdanmark’s customers from the second they call until their problems are solved. Going forward, Falck will also handle emergency calls from Topdanmark’s customers and satellite surveillance of expensive vehicles.

Falck continues global expansion

Falck’s Annual Report for 2013 shows revenue growth of 9.0% to DKK 12.5 billion, mainly generated in the current business, where organic growth accounted for 7.7%. The share of Falck's revenue generated outside Denmark continued to increase and was 53.4% in 2013, up from 51.6% in 2012.
