Ingrid Bojner joins Falck’s Board of Directors

At Falck’s annual general meeting today, Ingrid Bojner was elected as a new member of the board. Ingrid Bojner replaces Lars Frederiksen who has decided to step down after eight years on the board.

Ingrid Bojner brings extensive board experience and currently serves as a board member of Carnegie Investment Bank, New Republic PA and Deezer. Ingrid Bojner’s most recent role has been interim CEO at Storytel, where she has been part of the global management team for the past five years. Storytel/Mofibo is one of the world's largest streaming subscription services for e-books and audiobooks.

Ingrid is an experienced business leader who has worked with digital transformations and growth strategies throughout her career. She comes with a solid business understanding acquired through her tenure as Associate Principal with McKinsey & Company, Head of Sales at TeliaSonera and most recently as Deputy CEO & CCO at Storytel (SSE). The growth path of Storytel under Ingrid Bojner’s leadership has to a large extent driven the digital transformation of the book industry.

"With Ingrid Bojner entering Falck's Board of Directors, we bring in a person with strong digital competences and solid experience within digital transformation. Falck will in the next couple of years be investing significantly in digital business solutions to support the continued development of new and more innovative healthcare services, and we look forward to benefiting from Ingrid's many years of experience and insights in this important area," says Niels Smedegaard, Chair of the Board of Directors of the Falck Group.

Ingrid Bojner says: "Falck has been through an impressive development over the past five years, and I am looking forward to contributing to Falck's further development as part of the Board of Directors. I have worked extensively with digitalisation for different companies and can’t wait to be a part of the further development of Falck’s strategy and aim to advance sustainable healthcare. Digitalisation and new technology come with endless opportunities. I am impressed by Falck´s ambition and willingness to drive meaningful changes for people."

The increasing global demand for healthcare services requires that healthcare providers continuously develop new, digital, and smarter ways of delivering health.
