​Falck wins International Design Excellence Award

Falck is delighted to announce that we have won an International Design Excellence Award (IDEA) for our Global Innovation Strategy, which will set the direction for our future innovation projects.

The International Design Excellence Awards is one of the world’s longest running and most prestigious design awards. IDEA recognizes products and services that encourage, inspire, and push the industry forward. Since its inception, the goal of IDEA has always remained to identify and honor the pinnacle of design excellence. Its winners reveal the tremendous significance of design in business, society and beyond, thus proving that great results are possible when design is leveraged to its fullest potential.

This year, IDEA’s international jury of experts judged the entries based on the level of innovation and the benefits to users and society. Falck is one of two to be named a winner in the design strategy category. With this award Falck joins a global community of winners which includes companies like Google, Apple, GE, Philips and Unicef.

Four solutions spaces to guide future innovation

The Falck Global Innovation Strategy set out to guide the company’s innovation efforts, with the goal of ‘saving and improving even more lives’. The strategy uncovered and defined 4 solutions spaces to focus future innovation projects:

1. Ease Critical Moments
We explore ways to alleviate the distress and negative impact of critical healthcare moments

2. Optimise Care Journeys
We explore ways to navigate and coordinate through targeted care pathways

3. Enable Equal Access
We explore ways to deliver accessible care to diverse populations

4. Build Resilient Communities
We explore ways to increase sustainable healthcare engagement across daily life

Innovation projects within the solution spaces are already underway.
