Falck pens big contract with the Danish Defence

Falck Teknik has just signed their biggest contract ever with the Danish Defence. For the next four years, Falck Teknik, which sells fire equipment to both public and private institutions, will be providing fire extinguishers to the Danish Defence departments throughout Denmark.

For the next four years, Falck Teknik will supply fire extinguishers to the Danish Defence. The agreement has just been signed, and Falck won the tender offered by the Danish Ministry of Defence's Material and Purchasing Agency. With the agreement, Falck Teknik will deliver about 25,000 fire extinguishers per year to Defence locations.

Falck Teknik already provides several services to Danish municipalities and authorities, but the contract with the Danish Defence is the largest ever for Falck Teknik in terms of expected turnover and material volume. Director of Falck Teknik, Thommas Henriksen, welcomes the collaboration.

“We are incredibly pleased and proud to deliver critical equipment to the Danish Defence during the years to come. We have extensive experience in providing, maintaining and advising on emergency equipment, and we look forward to bringing our competencies into play in this agreement with such an important player in society as the Danish Defence,” says Thommas Henriksen.

Falck Teknik is Denmark's leading provider of fire equipment and first-aid equipment, and the company also offers emergency advisory and maintenance services. Since the 1980s, Falck Teknik has been a part of the Falck Group, and in 2018 it became part of Falck Assistance Nordic's commercial department.

The agreement with the Danish Defence will run until 2022.
