Falck supports the European EMS2017 Congress in Copenhagen

In 2016, Copenhagen was the host city of EMS2016, the first European Congress on Emergency Medical Services. The Congress was a big success, with more than 1100 delegates attending from 37 countries. Falck was main sponsor of the event, and Falck professionals and other employees took part in many of the sessions at the congress. Following up on the success, Falck will support the EMS2017 in Copenhagen as Diamond Sponsor.

Falck-CEO Allan Søgaard Larsen is excited about the event: “EMS2017 will provide a strong platform for the international exchange of experience and development of new standards for emergency medical services and pre-hospital care. EMS2016 was a catalyst for new ideas and exchange of knowledge among participants representing all groups of personnel engaged in prehospital care. An important lesson we learned last year was that it takes a system to save lives. EMS2017 will be able to push this lesson even further, and we’re proud to support this.”

CEO Freddy Lippert, EMS Copenhagen and congress chair for EMS2017, is pleased that Falck continues to support the European EMS congress and is looking forward to the collaboration.

“We all experienced a successful congress and the unique EMS-feeling that emerged from getting together. It’s important that we all learn from new knowledge, experiences and best practices in EMS to create the best solutions for our community and to save more lives. EMS2017 will provide the latest knowledge and be one of the most exciting EMS events in 2017.”

The congress will take place on 22-24 May 2017 in central Copenhagen. For more information, go to www.ems2017.org
