Falck expands in the US
Within just six month, Falck won new ambulance contracts in Orange County, Salem and Aurora. The contracts represent a significant growth for Falck in the US.
“It has been a very difficult process, particularly in Colorado, Oregon and Southern California, however our team has held strong, taken the high road, and come out as the winner in the end. We are very proud of our accomplishments and will carry on the Falck tradition for many years to come”, says Boo Heffner, President – CEO Falck USA.
The team’s great effort has paid off. Falck is represented in 15 states in the US and has approximately 4.600 employees. The new contracts generates a turnover of 50 million US dollars per year.
But the company’s success does not change the focus.
“We will never sacrifice clinical quality, ethics , morals, or our long established traditions to gain a win, in the long run it is never worth it”, says Robert Boo Heffner
The two largest providers of ambulance services in the US, AMR and Rural Metro, have plans to join forces and merge by the end of the year. This merger will make Falck the second largest provider of ambulance services on the US market with an annual turnover of approximately 340 million dollars.
